Many organisations invest heavily in marketing tools and outreach activities, yet relatively few develop structured approaches to cultivating the networks of people that ultimately drive trust, reputation, and advocacy.

I originally studied Ancient History, where one pattern appeared repeatedly across different civilisations: lasting institutions were rarely built through isolated effort. They emerged through communities. Where networks of people shared knowledge, trust, and a common purpose.
That perspective carried into my professional career.
Across roles in the charity sector, B2B events, coaching, and project management, I consistently saw the same dynamic. The organisations that achieved the most sustainable growth were those that understood how to cultivate strong networks around themselves and their customers, partners, advocates, and internal teams.
Community was rarely treated as a formal strategy, yet it was often the quiet infrastructure behind meaningful growth.
Over time, my work moved increasingly into marketing operations and automation, where I began designing systems that could scale relationship-driven engagement. Working with platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) and Mailchimp, I’ve built and implemented automation frameworks that connect marketing activity with structured customer journeys.
These systems are not simply about sending emails or capturing leads. When implemented properly, they provide organisations with the tools to:
structure communication across complex customer journeys
maintain consistent engagement at scale
translate relationships into measurable growth
In parallel with hands-on technical implementation, I have developed a library of technical articles and frameworks exploring how marketing automation, data systems, and community dynamics intersect.
This work reflects a central belief:
